Program Director of Cures Compliance
Creates, implements, and maintains a Conditions and Maintenance of Certification Compliance Program.
• Responsible for creating, maintaining, and implementing a Conditions and Maintenance of Certification Program for Certified Health IT.
• Responsible for the Conditions and Maintenance of Certification Program organizational structure, definition of team responsibilities, procedures, processes, and resources for implementing and maintaining the program.
• Oversees the creation of training materials for the education of all cross functional teams affected by the program.
• Create evidence collection methods, storage locations, and sampling plans.
• Schedule and conduct internal audits of the program.
• Document internal audit findings, request corrective actions, determine corrective action effectiveness, and follow up on corrective action activities.
• Create meaningful, relevant reports to present at Management Review.
• Lead efforts to create corrective action plans to be submitted to the ACBs, when required.
• Performs complex workflow analysis and implements program improvements.
• B.S. Degree Preferred
• 7+ years of experience managing a compliance program.
• 3+ years of MEDHOST Software experience, a plus.
• Familiarity with the attestation requirements for the Assurances Condition and Maintenance of Certification (45 CFR § 170.402)
• Familiarity with the 21st Century Cures Act: Interoperability, Information Blocking, and the ONC Health IT Certification Program Final Rule (ONC Cures Act Final Rule). For example, § 170.401 Information blocking, § 170.402 Assurances, § 170.403 Communications, etc.
• Ability to make decisions through thorough analysis.
• Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.
• Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.
• Ability to retain and protect confidential material.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Negative pre-employment drug tests.
